It is the base you want if you plan to be on the water at first light, come back at midday to sleep, and head out again in the afternoon.

The location
In the village, not on the highway
Kerkini village sits on the northern shore of the lake, at the foot of Mount Belles, inside the National Park. It is one of the closest points to the wetland — and one of the quietest.
