Privacy policy
This page explains what personal data we collect through kerkiniboat.com, why we collect it and what rights you have. The data controller is Spyros Sfetkos, Kerkini 620 55, Serres, Greece.
What we collect
Only what you send us through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in, a date, the number of people, the number of wheelchairs, whether you need Greek Sign Language commentary, and the text of your message.
The number of wheelchairs and the need for sign language interpretation are data related to health. We ask for them solely in order to organise your visit properly, we process them on the basis of your explicit consent, we share them with nobody, and we delete them once your visit is complete.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and arrange your booking.
- To prepare the boat, the ramp and, where needed, sign language interpretation.
- To meet our tax obligations where a transaction takes place.
We do not send marketing messages, and we do not sell or pass your details to third parties.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not result in a booking are deleted within twelve months. Where a transaction takes place, the related records are kept for as long as tax law requires.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no tracking cookies, sets no advertising cookies and does not follow you across other websites. Fonts and libraries are served from our own server, with no calls to Google Fonts or to any CDN.
The one exception is the embedded map on the contact page, which loads from OpenStreetMap and may record your IP address. If you would rather avoid that, do not load the contact page and call us instead.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, as well as the right to object and to withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@kerkiniboat.com and we will respond within thirty days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (dpa.gr).
